§ 11-4. Firefighters exempt from state retirement system.

The City of Ville Platte and its firefighting employees are hereby declared to be exempt from the provisions of section 33:2153A(1)(a) Louisiana Revised Statutes, and neither said section 2153A(1)(a) nor any of the other provisions of Act 434 of the 1979 Louisiana Legislature shall be applicable to this municipality or its firefighting employees.
