§ V. [Pre-existing uses.]

  • Owners of existing lots at the time of the adoption of this ordinance shall not be prohibited from constructing, reconstructing, moving, or remodeling a building upon said existing lots if such lot does not contain a minimum of 6,000 square feet or is less than 45 feet in width; provided, however, that in no case shall there be more than one main building used as a single family dwelling unit on one lot and provides that the requirements for the front, side and rear yards as stated above are complied with unless the approval of the designated city [town] administrative official.
