ORDINANCE NUMBER 2-8 of 77
CITY OF VILLE PLATTE, LOUISIANA
An Ordinance establishing the minimum lot square footage for the establishment of
a single family residence dwelling in the Town of Ville Platte, Louisiana, providing
for the administration, enforcement and amendment thereof, in accordance with the
Louisiana Revised Statutes.
Be It Ordained by the Mayor and Board of Alderman of the Town of Ville Platte, Louisiana:
Whereas,
the Board of Alderman deems it necessary for the purpose of promoting the health,
safety, morals, or general welfare of the Town of Ville Platte to enact such an ordinance
in order to prevent over-crowding land; to secure safety from fire, panic, and provide
adequate light and air; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate
the adequate provisions of transportation, water, sewage and other public requirements:
Now, Therefore, Be It Enacted by the Board of Alderman of Ville Platte, Louisiana,
as an Ordinance.
